Tournament Average Re-Rating Rules

The handicap for this tournament is 85% of the difference between
entrant's highest average and 220 under the following conditions:

All averages must be entrant's highest average in any league
based on a minimum of twenty one (21) games as recorded in his
City Association Yearbook. Year Book averages for the previous
three (3) seasons may be used. You must use your most recent
year book average.

If entrant's City Association does not publish a Yearbook, he
must use his highest average in any league based on a minimum
of 2l games as of May 3lst. League averages for the previous
three (3) seasons may be used. You must use your most recent
league average.

Any entrant not having an established average for the previous
season must use his current highest average in any league based on a
minimum of 2l games as of 6 days prior to his appearance in this
tournament.

Any entrant not having an established average under any of the
above conditions and has bowled in this tournament will be given an
average based on the games bowled in past tournament play. Averages
will be based on all games bowled over the past three (3)
tournaments.

Any entrant not having an established average under any of the above
conditions must use an average of 175. (150 Officers Tournament
Only.)
If Necessary all bowlers will be checked through their City or Area
Association Secretaries and will be required to furnish verification of
their declared average.
The maximum individual handicap is 100 pins per game. The maximum
handicap for a five man team is 500 pins per game.
Tournament Time Limit
Team Event 3 Hours. Singles and Doubles 3.5 Hours.
